Francis Cassidy is a specialist family law practitioner. The majority of his practice involves representation of local authorities, parents and guardians in public law Children Act proceedings.  Francis also regularly appears in private Children Act and Family Law Act disputes. 

Francis has developed a specialist practice advising local authorities in respect of third party disclosure applications and public interest immunity. 

Francis, an experienced trainer in family law advocacy, has presented lectures for BPP. 

Before coming to the Bar, Francis was for several years employed as a full-time tribunal advocate at a law centre
