Jonathan is a Bar Council accredited immigration practitioner and member of ILPA.  He is experienced in appeals before the Asylum & Immigration Tribunal, with notable successes in Judicial Review at the High Court.

His particular areas of practice are asylum, family reunion, human rights law, marriage, entry clearance and student leave cases.

He is a specialist in Home Office policy and ‘Abdi-type’ actions against the Secretary of State.

Jonathan also defends all types of criminal matters in the Crown and High Courts.

He is also a practising member of Chambers' Family Law team, specialising in Public Law cases involving children.
