Prior to joining 4 Brick Court as a pupil in 2008, Sarah worked as a paralegal for family solicitors gaining hands on experience with complex private child law proceedings, ancillary relief and applications under TLATA. Sarah went on to be employed for two years as a case worker for specialist domestic violence Solicitors within Women’s Aid, where she conducted cases in public and private child law proceedings, Family Law Act and Ancillary Relief proceedings.
During pupillage, Sarah assisted members of chambers in the case of Re B [2008] FLR 141 and in complex High Court proceedings which involved Hague Convention and public child law.
Sarah’s practice covers all aspects of family law and she is experienced in representing Local Authorities, Parents and Children through their Guardian. Sarah is particularly experienced in cases involving domestic violence; her experience to date also includes substance and alcohol misuse, physical and sexual abuse and non-accidental injuries.
Sarah is an Associate School Governor for a primary school in London
