Marina was employed by Essex Council for 8 years where she developed extensive knowledge of public law proceedings and adoption. Marina was responsible for representing the social services department, managing a full caseload and providing advice to legal planning meetings prior to the issue of proceedings.

Marina joined 4 Brick Court in 2000 and has an establised practice in the field of public law care proceedings and represents parents, children and local authorities. She also has particular experience of acting for Guradians in rule 9.5 private law cases, and Adoption and Special Guardianship Proceedings.

Marina prides herself in ensuring that instructing solicitors recieve prompt feedback following hearings and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed as quickly as possible.

Marina ensures that in cases involving vunerable clients they receive advice tailored to their particular circumstances. Marina is sensitive to the need to put clients at ease and explain the court process as well as the merits of the case. Marina recognises the need to manage the fine balance between empathy for clients and ensuring that a professional legal service is delivered.

Marina is head of the pupillage committee and is a member of the tenancy committee.
