Lee Pearman has a longstanding connection with Jamaica and has worked in Kingston with the Independent Jamaica Council for Human Rights in 2002 and 2010. He will next be in Jamaica from 07th to 21st June 2012 to investigate the possibility of setting up a formal link between the Jamaica and UK relating to matters concerning children (care proceedings, assessment, residence, adoption, abduction). This initial phase will include a series of meetings with stake holders from human rights, governmental and non-governmental organisations and, if viable, it is intended that a symposium would be arranged in 2013. - Training Events
