The AIT is the tribunal which hears appeals against immigration determinations by the Home Secretary. The site includes daily court lists and a useful 'information point' with guidance on the appeals' procedure, court addresses, practice directions and determinations.

Asylum Aid is a charity which provides free legal advice and representation to refugees and asylum seekers seeking safety in the UK from persecution.

BID provides a free dedicated bail service for those detained under UK immigration legislation.

HO site with application forms and guidance notes for applicants for UK passports. It also details the criteria for British nationality.

 ILPA - Immigration Law Practitioners Association

UK based association for lawyers and advisers, the site offers links to websites and information about CPD accredited training offered by ILPA. Members must be sympathetic to the aims of the organisation which includes the promotion and improvement of advice to immigrants.

The OISC is an independent public body responsible for ensuring that all immigration advisers fulfil the requirements of good practice and investigates complaints.
