Areas of work include refugee law, human rights, European community law, deportation and removal, family reunion, family reunion, marriage, entry clearance in all capacities, asylum support, nationality law, false imprisonment, national security and immigration crime. Levels of work vary, from appeals before immigration judges at the Asylum & Immigration Tribunal through to Judicial Review, appeals beofe the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. Representation and advice is provided at all levels, from application, through to litigation in the appellate system and the higher courts.

Members of the team have considerable experience advising on: work permits, nationality issues, Abdi-type actions against the Secretary of State, visitors, students, family members, settlement, as well as knowledge in cases concerning immigration and others fields of law, including crime, family law, employment, education, children and extradition. Members regularly advise children's guardians and local authorities on immigration-related aspects of Children Act proceedings. Removal challenges often need to be brought at short notice. We are able to act swiftly to help our solicitors bring proper challanges to imminent removal when required.
