Alastair’s practice covers the whole spectrum of family law from financial matters through to care proceedings.
Prior to studying Law Alastair Martey qualified as a Social Worker and worked at the Barnardo’s Children’s Charity for two years. Upon completion of the BPTC, Alastair worked as an education advocate for the Communities Empowerment Network.
He specialised in school exclusions representing parents of children at Governors Disciplinary Committee hearings and Independent Review Panels.
He also represented parents at School Admission Appeal hearings and at the First Tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability).
