Roheema commenced pupillage with 4BC in October 2025.
Prior to starting pupillage, Roheema worked in Melbourne, Australia as a Case Officer in the Human Rights Division at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. She managed her own caseload in Guardianship and Administration matters with start-to-end case management of highly complex applications for proposed represented persons who had lost decision-making capacity.
Roheema has recently received a scholarship from the Family Law Bar Association. She was also awarded an Exhibition Scholarship from the Inner Temple and two grants from the WeLoveMcr Charity.
Roheema has completed extensive pro bono work. During her time in Melbourne, she volunteered at Fitzroy Legal Service supporting litigants in person to access free legal advice appointments. These involved parenting and property applications and family violence intervention orders.
Whilst completing the Bar Course at The Inns of Court College of Advocacy she volunteered with Support Through Court. Roheema specifically assisted those with proceedings in the family courts on childcare arrangements and injunctions. She also worked at The Justice Hub setting up free legal advice appointments for litigants in person in private law children disputes and divorce matters. Roheema also delivered training with Saheli on how to support victims of domestic abuse from South Asian backgrounds including the application process for injunctions.
Roheema serves as Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion of the Steering Committee at Lawyers Who Care, a charity that supports care-experienced aspiring lawyers.
