Comment
Harry Simons represented the local authority in care proceedings issued following concerns relating to the mother’s parenting, substance misuse and mental health. The children were made subject to care orders and placed together in long-term foster care, with a ‘roadmap’ clearly setting out the steps the mother needs to take in order for consideration to be given to the children being returned to her care.
